Prayer Focus Day 13

14 Days of Prayer and Fasting
Manifesting His Glorious Grace
Saturday - Day 13

Prayer does not change God, prayer changes us. The fast that we are part of is not to force the Lord’s hand to do what we want. It is to align ourselves with God’s will for us and to have the courage to obey His will for our lives.

While we are on this side of eternity, we will have an enemy that is fully vested in our destruction. Yet our Shepherd’s rod and staff brings us to His table, where he anoints our head with oil, to show that we belong to Him. He causes our cup to overflow, to show that He provides more than enough even in the midst of our enemies.

Let Him prepare a table for you, a place to rest and be fed. Let Him anoint your head with oil, a sign of belonging and welcoming. Let Him fill your cup to overflow, a sign of His constant care and provision in your life. Your Shepherd has an open invitation to you, to come to His table. Are you willing to come today?

Verses to Pray and Meditate on:
Psalm 23:5(NKJV) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

Job 36:15-16(NCV) But God saves those who suffer through their suffering; he gets them to listen through their pain. God is gently calling you from the jaws of trouble to an open place of freedom where he has set your table full of the best food.

Psalm 24:7-10(NLT) Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty; the Lord, invincible in battle. Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The Lord of Heaven’s Armies—he is the King of glory.

Amos 9:11(NLT) “In that day I will restore the fallen house of David. I will repair its damaged walls. From the ruins I will rebuild it and restore its former glory.

Mark 13:26(NLT) Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds with great power and glory.
