Prayer Focus Day 14
14 Days of Prayer and Fasting
Receiving What He Has Promised
Sunday - Day 14
Purpose today, this last day of prayer and fasting to press completely into the will of the Father. Be aware and know that He has no limits in blessing you and enlarging you, but He needs to change you first. Without the transformational power of His Word and His Spirit all that is going to happen is that we are going to spill out the new wine that He desires to pour into our new wineskins.
We cannot pour new wine into old wineskins, we must first be made soft and pliable. This only takes place through the process of being placed in the oil and being worked over, so that the oil can be worked in, so that we can expand when the new wine is poured in. You cannot expect a new work of the Holy Spirit with an old mindset of the flesh.
What are willing to forego so that you may see what you have never seen, hear what you have never heard and experience what you have never experienced before? Goodness and mercy is guaranteed to those who follow the Good Shepherd, and their desire is for His house, His people and His purpose.
Verses to Pray and Meditate on:
Psalm 23:6(NKJV) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.
1 Chronicles 4:9-10(MSG) Jabez was a better man than his brothers, a man of honor. His mother had named him Jabez (Oh, the pain!), saying, “A painful birth! I bore him in great pain!” Jabez prayed to the God of Israel: “Bless me, O bless me! Give me land, large tracts of land. And provide your personal protection—don’t let evil hurt me.” God gave him what he asked.
Psalm 34:6-8(MSG) When I was desperate, I called out, and God got me out of a tight spot. God’s angel sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray. Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see—how good God is. Blessed are you who run to him.
Psalm 31:6-7(Message) I hate all this silly religion, but you, God, I trust. I'm leaping and singing in the circle of your love; you saw my pain, you disarmed my tormentors, You didn't leave me in their clutches but gave me room to breathe.
1 Peter 5:9-11(NLT) Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are. In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. All power to him forever! Amen.
John 11:40(AMPC) Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you and promise you that if you would believe and rely on Me, you would see the glory of God?”
Romans 16:24-26(NLT) Now all glory to God, who is able to make you strong, just as my Good News says. This message about Jesus Christ has revealed his plan for you Gentiles, a plan kept secret from the beginning of time. But now as the prophets foretold and as the eternal God has commanded, this message is made known to all Gentiles everywhere, so that they too might believe and obey him.
Acts 3:19-21(MSG) “Now it’s time to change your ways! Turn to face God so he can wipe away your sins, pour out showers of blessing to refresh you, and send you the Messiah he prepared for you, namely, Jesus. For the time being he must remain out of sight in heaven until everything is restored to order again just the way God, through the preaching of his holy prophets of old, said it would be.
Prayer Focus:
Haggai 2:7(CEV) I will shake the nations, and their treasures will be brought here. Then the brightness of my glory will fill this temple.
Hebrews 12:26-28(NLT) When God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise: “Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.” This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain. Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe.
2 Corinthians 4:15(NLT) All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.
John 17:20-23(MSG) I’m praying not only for them but also for those who will believe in me
because of them and their witness about me. The goal is for all of them to become one heart and mind—Just as you, Father, are in me and I in you, So they might be one heart and mind with us. Then the world might believe that you, in fact, sent me. The same glory you gave me, I gave them, So they’ll be as unified and together as we are—I in them and you in me. Then they’ll be mature in this oneness, and give the godless world evidence that you’ve sent me and loved them in the same way you’ve loved me.
Romans 16:27(NLT) All glory to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, forever. Amen!
Ephesians 3:20-21(MSG) God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. Glory to God in the church! Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus! Glory down all the generations! Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!
Jude 1:25(NLT) All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.

Prayer Focus:
- Pray for the capacity to receive what the Lord has promised.
- Ask the Lord to enlarge both you and the place He has called you to.
- Ask the Lord to restore to you the capacity to dream again so that He may fill you with His purpose and plan, not yours.
- Let thanksgiving be your constant companion and let praise be what fills your heart and mouth.
- Praise the lord out loud! Praise Him boldly and confidently. Praise Him privately and publicly. Praise with your fellow brothers and sisters. Let your children hear you praise the Lord!
- Ask the Lord to damage any fear you have of what others make think of you when you boldly live out His purpose for you.
- What are you believing for? Ask big, ask boldly, pray confidently and praise Him loudly, even if you have to do it by faith, not by your feelings.
- Pray that the church of Jesus would become of one heart and mind.
- Pray that His good news will be proclaimed all over the earth.
- Ask that more and more people will be open to receive His message of grace and salvation, including people you work with and family members that are far from Him.
- Thank the lord for His unshakable Kingdom we are receiving and ask for boldness to declare that His kingdom come and His will be done!
- Give Him all the glory for what he has done in you these last 14 days, but also for what He is about to do through you.
- Stay alert, sober and aware of what He wants to do in and through your life!
