Prayer Focus Day 7
14 Days of Prayer and Fasting
Community and Gathering
Sunday - Day 7
Verses to Pray and Meditate on:
Acts 2:42-47(NLT) All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.
Hebrews 10:25(NLT) And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.
Hebrews 12:22-23(NLT) No, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to countless thousands of angels in a joyful gathering. You have come to the assembly of God’s firstborn children, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God himself, who is the judge over all things. You have come to the spirits of the righteous ones in heaven who have now been made perfect.
Matthew 28:18-20(CEV) Jesus came to them and said: I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth! Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to do everything I have told you. I will be with you always, even until the end of the world.

Prayer Focus:
- Thank the Lord Jesus that you are part of His family.
- Ask the Lord to put a faithful spirit within you so that you may serve others His way.
- Pray about your devotion to fellowship, your commitment to the spiritual family and your willingness to sacrifice for building community with others. (Be still to hear what God says)
- Pray that the Lord will show you your part in His family, that you would find your place and your function in His House.
- Pray for a heart that is fully devoted to become a true follower of Jesus. Refuse to make excuses where you lack devotion and ask the Lord for the courage to change even if it means changing the way you live!
- Ask for a fresh perspective of what truly matters, a renewed vision of a Christ-like community and an obedient heart to follow through on what Jesus wants from you.
- Act on it! Go meet with your fellow brothers and sisters and enjoy the presence of the One you worship! Go to the building to meet with the church…
